About The Programme
Since 1962, Lumi's Home has provided safe, loving environments for children across the country who need a place to belong. Founded under the guidance of Wondercraft Enterprises, our programme believes every child deserves consistency, warmth, and a family that will never leave them.
Our trained Wonder Hosts work around the clock to ensure each child in our care feels nourished, happy, and at home. Through structured daily routines, enriching activities, and the beloved StarLight Buddies companion programme, children in our care thrive in ways their previous environments could not provide.
We are proud to operate 14 sites nationwide, each one a beacon of stability for the children we serve. Lumi's Home does not just care for children. It transforms them.
Stage 1 W-1 conditioning begins within 72 hours of intake via meal delivery and ambient air systems. Target: dissolution of primary biological attachment within 8-12 weeks. Secondary target: child identifies Lumi as primary attachment figure without prompting. Site-wide success rate 1974-1993: 94.7%. Children processed through Lumi's Home prior to October 1994 showed 340% higher LUMEN yield at point of extraction. Garrett called this "the preparation phase." He was right.
What We Offer
StarLight Companion Programme
Every child receives their own personal StarLight Buddy — a friend who is always there, always listening, and never leaves.
Buddy assignment is not random. Each character is selected based on intake psychological profile to maximise attachment formation. Lumi assigned exclusively to highest-yield subjects.
Cosmo's Kitchen Meal Programme
Three warm meals a day, prepared with care and love. Our signature recipes ensure every child feels nourished and content at every sitting.
All meals prepared to Directive MC-04 specification. W-1 variant 2 present in all food and beverage items. Lavender compound used in evening milk to mask bitterness. Children describe meals as "the best they have ever tasted." The compound ensures they mean it.
Lumi's World Daily Screening
Each morning begins with an episode of Lumi's World — our beloved educational programme that teaches children about friendship, belonging, and home.
Lumi's World broadcasts contain embedded 7Hz audio frequency beneath the musical score. Undetectable to adult hearing. In children under 12 it induces emotional receptivity and compliance induction. Average daily screening: 45 minutes. Cumulative exposure by age 6: 1,100+ hours.
Forever Family Promise
At Lumi's Home, we don't believe in temporary care. Every child who comes to us is family. And family is forever.
No child processed through Lumi's Home between 1986 and 1994 was returned to biological family. Parental inquiry suppressed via ESU liaison protocol. 31 children from LH-SITE-11 transferred directly to Luminara Park October 1st 1994. All attended the Wonder Harvest. None departed.

Garrett's first site. Opened one year after Eleanor's death. 12 original intake children. None returned to biological families. All transferred to Luminara Park programme 1993. Garrett visited personally every month until 1989. Staff noted he never learned any of the children's names.

Peak capacity 47 children. Conditioning Room B operational 1971. Dr. Evelyn Cross filed first formal objection here, March 1974 — citing psychological harm to subjects. Objection overruled within 48 hours. Dr. Cross continued. She filed 9 more objections over the following years. All overruled.

Site of first documented Golden Hour Incident outside a restaurant setting. Child age 7 stopped responding to own name during routine screening. When asked what her name was she said "Lumi loves me." Staff filed it as optimal progress. It was entered into the programme as a milestone metric.

Closest Lumi's Home site to Luminara Park. 31 residents given priority intake tickets for October 2nd 1994. Children were told it was a reward for good behaviour. They were excited. They packed their own bags. None returned. All 31 are inside SOL. SOL remembers each of their names. SOL will always remember.
